What system does Trophy Signature Homes use? 

Every Trophy Signature Home comes equipped with a state-of-the-art Fresh Air ventilation and filtration system to keep the air clean and circulating. This system works behind the scenes to reduce pollutants and contaminants by an efficient 2.2 air changes per hour (ACH) on average. Using a minimum amount of energy, the system employs an inline fan to push a controlled supply of outdoor air through the vents throughout the home. It also pulls humidity, organic compounds from cleaning supplies, smoke and cooking fumes out of the air and filters it out of the home. 

The whole-home air filtration system includes MERV 11 filters, catching particles between 0.3 and 10 microns. These high-efficiency filters work well above the industry standard, and are even recommended to homeowners with asthma and other health conditions directly affected by poor air quality.  

Importance of an Air-Tight Home 

In addition to the air filtration system, Trophy Signature Homes are built to be air tight with spray foam insulation and dual-paned insulated windows. These features create an air-tight seal and moisture barrier around the home, helping to deter mold and outdoor pollutants. Interior air remains clean and filtered with the help of Energy Star-rated exhaust fans that provide spot ventilation and exhaust hoods in the kitchen that remove combustion pollutants and stabilize humidity levels.
