Have a DIY day 

In our opinion, it’s never too early to start decorating your home for Christmas, and when you’re at home on a chilly winter day, try your hand at making some of your own decorations this year. Set up the ultimate craft station in the dining area or family room and let the kids help out making paper snowflakes to hang from the ceilings in their rooms or a countdown to Christmas calendar to get you in the holiday spirit. 

Getting creative doesn’t always mean home decorations, though. Gather the entire family in the kitchen and try out some new baking recipes to perfect your holiday party menu.
