Simplified living in DFW

Simplified living in DFW

At Trophy Signature Homes, we believe a home should not only facilitate a lifestyle but help to create one too. That is why we are proud to offer affordable, modern, and environmentally friendly homes for families across the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Read more about how we work to simplify your life below.

The features you want

The first step in simplified living is to start with smart design. We identify the products and materials first that best reflect your interests and lifestyle goals. Then, we take a whole-home approach. All Trophy Signature Homes are air-tight, water and energy-efficient, and configured with home automation from the start.

Air-Tight Home

With energy consumption concerns rising, an air-tight home is both good for the planet and good for your overall health. We begin with spray foam insulation, applied to all exterior walls and attic ceilings to create an air-tight seal and moisture barrier around the home, which helps deter mold and saves money on energy bills.

Dual paned insulated windows contribute to an air-tight home and help stabilize your home’s temperature.

Cleaner Air

Inside an air-tight home, our Fresh Air ventilation and filtration system keeps the air clean and circulating. This system reduces indoor pollutants and contaminants by averaging an efficient 2.2 air changes per hour (ACH) – resulting in a healthier living environment indoors.

We have added features like Energy Star-rated exhaust fans that provide spot ventilation for humidity and odors, along with kitchen exhaust hoods that remove pollutants and help stabilize humidity levels.

Spray foam insulation also plays a key role in keeping indoor air clean by minimizing the infiltration of allergens, pollen, dust, mold, smoke, smog, bacteria, dander, dust mites, and insects.

Water Efficient

With declining freshwater sources, nationally mandated water utility upgrades, and higher energy costs, we have incorporated water-saving systems, products, and practices into our new homes. It is a practice at Trophy Signature Homes to install low-flow faucets, low-flow toilets, and zoned irrigation systems in every home.

Energy Efficient

Optimizing home energy efficiency requires a whole-house systems approach. We consider all the variables, details, and interactions that affect energy use in your home.

  • Smart Thermostat: Not only does scheduling your thermostat minimize energy costs, but a smart thermostat also allows you to track your energy usage and control your thermostat remotely.
  • Tankless Water Heaters: While a traditional tank water heater heats water continuously, tankless water heaters heat only as much water as needed, when it is needed. These units last longer, use less energy, offer endless hot water, and can reduce utility bills.
  • LED Lighting: The most significant advantage of LEDs when compared to traditional lighting is a longer lifespan and, secondly, LEDs generally consume very low amounts of power. The benefits are clear: lower maintenance and monthly energy costs.
  • HVAC: 16 SEER units are up to 13% more efficient than 14 SEER counterparts, which saves you hundreds of dollars in energy costs over the years.
  • Ventilation: The air in our homes is already temperature controlled by our spray foam insulation and insulated windows. Moving temperature-controlled air through our ventilation system makes the entire system immediately more energy efficient. Combine this feature with an inline fan that amounts to 1/10th less energy than conventional mechanical ventilation amounts to instant financial savings for you.
  • Energy Efficient Appliances: Households remain one of the major contributors to harmful greenhouse gases because they use appliances that consume a lot of energy. Our energy efficient appliances help reduce these greenhouse emissions, along with helping to conserve water, save you money, and reduce your carbon footprint.
  • Low E Windows: Low Emittance, or Low E, is a razor-thin, colorless, non-toxic coating applied to window glass to block helps block infrared light from penetrating the glass and reduces destructive UV rays - all without blocking natural light.
  • Spray Foam Insulation: Spray foam reduces energy consumption and protects your building against mold and mildew growth. Since it’s longer lasting than any other type of insulation, it also consumes less materials for a more eco-friendly option.
  • Sustainable Landscaping: We install plants and ground materials that thrive in local temperatures, rainfall and weather patterns. By reducing the amount of resources needed to keep up with your landscaping, you get an outdoor area that is both beautiful and eco-friendly.

Security & Automation

The benefits of home automation can be categorized as savings, safety, convenience, and control. Ultimately for you, this means simplified living, comfort, and peace of mind.

Here are some ways our ClareOne home automation system can help facilitate your busy life:

  • Managing all of your home systems from your device
  • Flexibility to add new devices and appliances
  • Maximizing home security, if you choose to purchase a monitoring system
  • Remote control of home functions
  • Increased energy efficiency
  • Home management insights
